The agent-based SOC service developed by Advania Finland responds to AI-accelerated cyber threats in seconds.

Automated agents monitor network environments, analyze data, and respond to anomalies without manual work.

The service is quick to deploy and cost-efficient. It combines data from multiple security solutions into a single view and alerts on shadow IT.
AI supporting cyber defense
Cyber attackers are increasingly using AI to identify vulnerabilities and carry out attacks. The pace of attacks has accelerated to a level where traditional SOC response times of 15 to 30 minutes are no longer sufficient.
“To counter AI, organizations need AI-powered detection capabilities to support their defense. That’s why we developed an agent-based SOC service designed to reduce response times from minutes to seconds. Nothing like this has previously been available in Finland,” says Mats Palm, Head of Security Business at Advania Finland.
The service processes telemetry data from multiple sources, including network traffic, endpoints, user identities, and cloud services. It analyzes anomalies and responds automatically. This significantly reduces the need for manual expert work, such as threat assessment, while still escalating complex cases and business-critical decisions to human experts.
Agentic SOC illuminates the dark corners of IT environments
The new service also addresses a long-standing cybersecurity challenge: gaining full visibility into your IT environment. These environments often include hidden areas where cyber attackers can operate undetected.
“The service provides centralized visibility across the entire IT environment and alerts on shadow IT, such as unmanaged devices that typically remain outside normal monitoring,” Palm explains.
Compared to traditional security services, the agentic SOC is technology- and vendor-independent. You do not need to install additional security components on your devices. The service has been built natively for the AI era, without legacy constraints or compromises.
General availability around Midsummer
Development began last year and has progressed from pilot phase to a fully production-ready service. It will become generally available around Midsummer. “Deployment is easy and can be completed in just a couple of days, for example within the Microsoft ecosystem,” Palm says. The agentic SOC service is designed especially for forward-looking mid-sized organizations with hundreds of employees that want to keep pace with evolving cyber threats without building a large in-house security organization. The service runs continuously throughout the year, is available in Finnish, and operates in the EU cloud.
