Metacore Games does not play games when it comes to security

The intellectual property developed by Metacore Games for its products is a significant asset. This content is safeguarded through comprehensive security measures, implemented in collaboration with Advania.

Founded in 2019, Metacore Games has offices in Helsinki and Berlin and employs nearly 300 people. Their games have been downloaded more than 60 million times worldwide.

The long-standing partnership with Advania began when Metacore was considering how to handle identity and device management efficiently and securely.

In line with the Zero Trust approach, Advania brought these two together: integrating the systems enabled seamless and comprehensive security,” says Metacore Games’ IT and Facility Lead, Mikko Piiroinen.

Workspace ONE is used for device management, and Okta is used for identity and access management. Endpoint devices are protected with CrowdStrike’s security solution.

Modern and continuously evolving security is achieved through the seamlessness provided by integrations and automation. The user experience is smooth both for IT staff and for all other employees,” says Jani Löytynoja from Advania.

A good partner is skilled and understands the business

Mikko Piiroinen and his team value flexibility and expertise in a partner.

“We especially appreciate, in our collaboration with Advania, the deep know-how and understanding their experts have of our business. All content produced for Metacore Games’ titles is valuable intellectual property that we want to protect with the best possible solutions.”
